If you love a cruise with incredible entertainment (and who doesn’t?), Norwegian Cruise Line has just raised the bar once again! Between now and September 2025, NCL is launching four brand-new original shows across nine of their much-loved ships, including Epic, Getaway, Breakaway, Joy, and Prima.
Created by NCL’s own Creative Studios and some seriously big-name partners, these shows promise more to see, more to do, and more to enjoy, whether you’re sailing for the first time or coming back for more.
Here’s a look at what’s coming soon to a ship near you.
Red, White, & British
Get ready to celebrate some of the UK’s biggest music icons with Red, White, & British, a high-energy tribute to legendary artists like Queen and David Bowie. Developed with the world-famous Burn the Floor team, this show will mix glam rock, amazing dance performances, and stunning visuals, all wrapped up in a seriously lively atmosphere.
The show will debut onboard Norwegian Breakaway in March 2025, then on Norwegian Epic in May 2025 for her Greek Isles sailings, and later onboard Norwegian Prima in August 2025 during her Northern Europe voyages.
Bring Back the 90s
If you grew up in the 90s (or just love the music), you’re going to love this! Bring Back the 90s takes guests on a nostalgic, high-energy trip through the decade, with hits from Alanis Morissette, Salt-N-Pepa, Destiny’s Child and more. It’s vibrant, bold, and packed with 90s pop culture vibes, complete with mashups by DJ duo The Hood Internet.
This show will premiere onboard Norwegian Getaway in March 2025 and will also be featured on Norwegian Joy during her Alaska season in summer 2025.
ICONS: The Bands
Premiering onboard Norwegian Encore in March 2025 and later on Norwegian Escape, ICONS: The Bands is a brand-new immersive concert experience that celebrates some of the greatest bands of all time. Expect powerful anthems, incredible harmonies, and non-stop energy, performed by the talented cast behind The Choir of Man.
If you love soaring vocals and classic hits, this is definitely one to catch.
Ignite the Night
If you love the glitz and glam of award shows, Ignite the Night will be right up your street! Choreographed by Britt Stewart, known from Dancing with the Stars, this high-energy show brings the glamour of the red carpet to life with dance, music, and serious style.
You’ll find it debuting onboard Norwegian Jewel in March 2025 and later on Norwegian Gem for her Canada & New England sailings.
Entertainment Beyond the Main Stage
NCL’s new entertainment strategy doesn’t stop with the big productions. Across the fleet, you’ll now find even more live music, family-friendly entertainment, and spontaneous Mini Moments of More, surprise pop-up performances that can happen anywhere onboard, from the pool deck to the atrium. Think flash mobs, live performances mid-meal, and unforgettable little moments designed to make your cruise even more magical.
NCL is known for setting the standard when it comes to entertainment at sea, and with these new additions, they’re proving once again that cruising can be just as exciting onboard as it is in the destinations you visit.
